Once again Farmfest 2006 was a success at Stellmar Farm thanks
to the efforts of volunteers, family and friends. As usual we had an array
of activities for kids and adults alike. The weather held off for most of the
weekend allowing many adults and children to enjoy the giant pumpkin patch tour,
pumpkin painting, temporary tatoos, colouring, warm cider, giant pumpkin weight guessing and much more!
Thanks to Kyle, Jenn and Kristin for providing much support around the farm and
house. We thank our hardworking volunteers Dylan and Elizabeth for providing fun
activities for the children and adults who visited Stellmar farm.
Thanks goes to Kelly for the many visits and phone calls to
make another
successful Farmfest weekend.
Congratulations to Steve Mann for guessing 182 pounds as the
weight of the giant pumpkin. The following weekend found his car with a funny
looking orange passenger!
