Farmfest 2007
|
We had record numbers out to Stellmar Farm Pumpkin Fest this year. Along with the sun, high temperatures and fall backdrop came many eager Farmfest participants. Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, family and friends, we were able to provide new activities, such as, face painting this year. As usual we had an array of activities for kids and adults. The weather held out for most of the weekend allowing many adults and children to enjoy the giant pumpkin patch tour, pumpkin painting, face painting, temporary tatoos, warm cider, giant pumpkin weight guessing and much more! Thanks to Kyle, Jenn, Bernie and Cheryl for providing much support around the farm and house. We thank our hardworking and enthusiastic volunteers Dylan, Victoria, Sarah, Ashley and Tyler for providing the fun activities and welcoming the visitors to Stellmar farm. (You guys were awesome!) Thanks to Carolyn Puterbough for her hard work to organize another successful Farmfest weekend. Congratulations to L. McFarlano for guessing the weight of the giant pumpkins to within a half a pound. It weighed a whooping 216 pounds. Take a look at some of the pictures of Pumpkinfest at Stellmar Farm. The Volunteers
